WHAT YOGA MEANS TO ME

For me, yoga is far more than physical exercise—it’s a way of transforming both body and mind. It’s a practice that helps calm the fluctuations of the mind (vrittis) and invites us into deeper self-awareness, acceptance, and gratitude. Yoga is a way of life, a way of thinking, and a way of being. It walks beside us wherever we go.

I came to yoga as part of my own journey of self-discovery. Over the past 10 years, my personal practice has evolved into a path of spiritual growth—one that continues to teach me to trust life, stay present, and be thankful for all that unfolds. Yoga has shown me that when we connect body, breath, and mind, we open the door to living more consciously, fully, and joyfully.

MY CLASSES

I’ve been practicing yoga on and off the mat since 2001 and guiding others since 2017. I received my teacher training at the Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto, where I learned a student-centered approach that honours the roots of Hatha yoga while meeting the needs of modern practitioners.

In my classes, you can expect:

  • A welcoming, non-competitive space—no special skills required.

  • A balanced mix of postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), and relaxation to calm the mind and energize the body.

  • Mindful movement that builds strength, flexibility, and resilience.

  • Integration of yoga philosophy with modern anatomy and physiology principles.

  • Encouragement to explore with curiosity, playfulness, and self-inquiry.

Every class is designed to help you feel more grounded, balanced, and connected—both to yourself and to the present moment. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner, you’ll find space here to grow, breathe, and move at your own pace.

Join me to explore yoga as a tool for transformation—on the mat, and in life.
